Both had red frames, black wheels, bars and pedals, and some scratches to pedals and frames.
One was postcoded, BS14 0AW (we think), both less than 3 years old.

Andy's Cove Stiffee 69er and Rocky Mountain Altitude
“My brother in law had his garage broken into last night and the two above bikes stolen. He lives in Oldland Common and the thieves bent the garage door out of shape (to get it over the garage door defender) and then ripped a wall anchor out of the wall (attaching the Altitude to the wall). Unlikely, but the Altitude may still have a thick armoured cable lock still attached to it's frame.

Jake's Specialized P2
"I would like to report the theft of my bike which was stolen between last Friday and this morning.
It is a Specialized P2 2005 model with an upgrade to Hope M4 disc brakes.
It was stolen from my garden in St.Paul's where it was locked with a Master 1m chain lock as well as a thinner lock. They broke the bike stand off the shed to remove the bike so obviously the lock did its job (almost)."

The stand was disassembled and the bike taken. The lock might still be attached through the front wheel and frame, it is a Kryptonite M-18, similar in colour to the New York models.
